Stockport Together Events - Design phase kicked off
Design phase kicked off with seven major events for staff, public and third party organisations
Stockport Together, the partnership between NHS Stockport Clinical Commissioning Group, Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council, NHS Stockport Foundation Trust and NHS Pennine Care Foundation Trust, has just completed seven major design events at Stockport County.
The initial five events, held in August 2015, were designed to give all stakeholder groups, from the general public and carers to staff at the partner organisations and third party providers, the opportunity to share insight from their own personal perspectives about what does (and crucially what doesn't) work in the current health and social care system in Stockport.
The second set of events held this week (week commencing 7th September) brought together the topline findings from the first set, and asked the audience to help Stockport Together to think through the required culture change across the organisations. This was a key theme that came out from each of the previous events, and was identified as a key area to focus on in order to be successful with any of the proposed changes under Stockport Together.
A report from these sessions will be published online in the coming weeks.« Return to Latest News
